Mobile Money Notes

Mobile-money behavior depends on the products enabled for your SenteRail account. Treat this page as implementation guidance for testing, webhooks, and reconciliation, not as a guarantee of live provider availability.

Integration Pattern

When mobile-money products are enabled, your integration should:

  • send stable customer and business references
  • use idempotency keys for mutating requests
  • listen for signed SenteRail webhooks
  • avoid treating provider timing as final state without reconciliation
  • keep enough evidence for support and accounting review

Sandbox Testing

Use sandbox credentials and Magic numbers where your account supports deterministic scenarios. Test success, failure, timeout, duplicate event, and delayed event handling before production launch.

Webhook Handling

Listen for SenteRail outbound webhooks rather than provider-facing callback endpoints. Verify signatures, persist event IDs, and dedupe repeat deliveries.

Reconciliation

Match SenteRail references and webhook events to your own order, member, or accounting records. Keep a manual support path for cases where provider timing or network behavior creates uncertainty.
